This Refund Policy outlines our guidelines for processing refund requests for our paid courses and services.
By purchasing any course or service from Backtest Academy, you agree to the terms of this policy.
2. General Policy
Please read this Refund Policy carefully before making any payment.
All our courses (both live and recorded) are digital education programs — and thus, fees are non-refundable once access is granted.
3. Refund Eligibility (Based on Payment Mode)
Refunds are eligible only for the following payment modes:

✅ Net Banking
✅ Debit Card Payment
✅ Credit Card Payment
✅ Cash Payment
Refund requests will not be accepted if the payment was made through:

❌ Education Loan / Financing Partner
4. Refund Conditions
Refunds will only be considered in the following cases:

Live Course Enrollments –

A learner may request a refund only after attending the first live class, with a valid reason.

The request must be sent from the registered email ID to support@backtestacademy.com within 24 hours of the first class completion.

Recorded Courses –

Fees paid for recorded or self-paced courses are non-refundable under any circumstances.

Mentorship / Subscription-Based Services –

All mentorship, advisory, or subscription service fees are non-refundable, once purchased.

If such services are included inside a larger combo course, the refund (if eligible) will apply to the course fee only, excluding the mentorship portion.

Seat Booking / Registration Charges –

Any seat booking or registration fee is strictly non-refundable in all situations.

Only the remaining amount (excluding GST and convenience fees) may be considered for refund if approved.

5. Refund Process

Refund requests must be submitted in writing via email to support@backtestacademy.com.

Once your request is received, our team will review it based on the eligibility criteria.

If approved, refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days to the original payment method.

Please note: GST, convenience charges, and payment gateway fees will not be refunded.
6. Refund Denial Policy
A refund request will be rejected under any of the following circumstances:

The request is received after 24 hours of the first live class.

The learner has attended the second class or beyond.

The payment was made through EMI or loan mode.
-
The learner has downloaded course content or used learning resources.
-
Failure to provide valid payment proof or registered email details.
-
Requesting refund for recorded courses or seat booking charges.
7. Duplicate or Technical Payment Errors
If you made a duplicate payment or faced a technical issue (where payment was deducted but course access was not granted), please email us within 7 days of payment.
After verification, we will process the refund for the duplicate transaction.
